“How can we forget the broken when we never listen to their cries, how can we forget their sorrow when we never look and only pass by?
We never forget… we just listen to their screams echoing in the silence”.

NAYSPS

What can the National Youth Suicide Prevention Strategy Program (NAYSPS) do for you?
  • Provide training on health issues
  • Promote and engage youth, families and adults to build self-esteem.
  • Explore Aboriginal Culture and Healing
  • Learn new skills to deal with mental health issues.
Here at the Touchwood Agency Tribal Council we will assist and support the youth, family and community members to address suicide prevention. This program also provides training for front line workers to develop and update appropriate locally driven workshops on mental health and social issues.
