Develop an Aboriginal Youth Suicide Prevention Program that will increase protective(preventative)factors such as resiliency and reduce the risk factors associated with suicide.
NAYSPS encourages and supports the well-being of youth and families through a community-based approach of presentations, workshops and resources materials for the community. It increases awareness in understanding of suicide prevention amongst the youth and community members by helping to create a healthier community.

Here at the Touchwood Agency Tribal Council we will assist and support the youth, family and community members to address suicide prevention. This program also provides training for front line workers to develop and update appropriate locally driven workshops on mental health and social issues.
